Chameleon - Liu Bolin - Hiding in Plain Sight
This project is an identity/exhibition design for artist Liu Bolin.
He started the series "Hiding in the City" in 2005 after his and a number of other art studios in Beijing were demolished by Chinese authorities. Bolin addresses social, political, and economic issues of china, and the world in his artworks by the help of his assistants painting himself into the environment and disappearing into the background, creating breathtaking scenes. Just like a chameleon!
